As it is becoming increasingly apparant how utterly inadequate the world's muslim community is handling the posting of the Danish cartoons depicting Mohammed, it is nice to see people like Irshad Manji speaking with a voice of reason. She steps up and talks about the nessecary reforms that Islam needs to undergo to become viable in our modern culture.

Seeing grown men chanting and demonstrating over a cartoon is somewhat disheartening and pathetic. If stuff like this doesn't make the moderate muslim wake up and realize that something has to change, I don't know what will. I'm probably being too optimistic though. Old positive me, ho ho ho.
Edit: In all fairness people like these should be mentioned. They are reasonable even though they don't exactly advocate the needed change.

Scientology's HubbardThe penis shaped laser shooting head of Hubbard, the founder of Scientlogy, as depicted on somethingawful.com.

ImageMohammed with a bomb as a turban. This image means you must burn down embassies and display your extremist backwards culture. See the rest of the Danish pictures here.
ImageThe Flying Spaghetti Monster, here depicted giving Adam the gift of Life through his noody appendage. A diety created by a disgruntled physics teacher in response to Creationist idiocy in Kansas. You must go here and worship his noodliness now!.

There is a reason that deeply Islamic countries hasn't contributed anything to science in the last 100 years: They're deeply Islamic. Wake up.
